I have been ttc #1 for six months now, af is coming any day and then I'm onto month 7. I was on BCP for a year and got off in June of this year. My first two cycles after I stopped taking BCP were pretty normal, but with my last few I have had spotting for upto 10 days before AF comes! This last cycle I ovulated on the 15th and started spotting on the 19th and have been ever since and I know I'm not pregnant. I think I am having trouble with my hormones and I want to go see a dr, but I'm not sure what to do, any advice?

I think you should call your doctor and make an appointment. 10 days of spotting does not seem right. Maybe your hormones are off balance. When I went off BCP I did not have a period for a year...

I would call your doctor. That is a lot of spotting and most of the time spotting between O and AF means low progesterone and you need good levels of it to be or become pregnant.

You should see your doctor. I had to do that coming off of the patch. I didnt even have a period for 6 months after that. They may be able to give you something to set your hormones straight again.

Well I made a Dr. appointment for Dec. 22nd. I will be in my luteal fase then, the time that I think my hormones have the most problems! Hopefully she will be able to figure something out!
