I am only 27 and I do have one child who is 6. Just looking for any other younger women out there who are having problems conceiving and not sure why. I never had a problem getting pregnant with my son. My ex husband and I decided we would do it and the first month of trying it happened. Not so lucky 7 years later and with a new husband. My husband has a son also though and had no problem conceiving him either. My husbands 34. Just wanted some insight from some women in a similar spot as me.

I am 23 and going onto month number 7. How long have you been TTC #2? Both my sisters and one of my SIL's had trouble TTC#2. Both my sisters got pregnant with #1 right off the bat and then #2 took them 5 and 7 months. My SIL got pregnant with her first with no problems, then it took her 18 months for #2 with a miscarriage in the middle. My two sisters were in their mid and late 20's and SIL is early 20's.

We have been trying for 13 months now. Going into our 14th month right now since AF just stopped. I am getting so depressed about the whole thing. I keep swearing something is wrong but my husband says he doesnt see how when we both have a child. I guess he is right but to me it seems odd that it is taking so long. But then again I'm not as young as I use to be, lol. Is this your first one your trying for?

I'm 24 and Dh is 23. We've been ttc #1 for about 8 months now with no luck. We have gone through tons of tests and ultrasounds and just about anything else you can name. After all of this we both have to see fertility specialist, dh has low sperm count and they swim in cirlces not straight (we laugh that he has retarded sperm ) I have screwed up cycles. 1 month I have no af and the next I could have 3 in a 30 day period.
Tomorrow we actually go to the dr to get our latest results and hopefully will both be starting some new drugs! We have a great dr who is convinced he can get us "knocked up" by summer. So we are hoping and keeping out fingers crossed!
Good luck on your journey!

Secondary infertility is quite common. Even if you have had previous children, your fertility can change. Your hormones might now be out of whack or dh's sperm might not being doing so good now even though he had no problem in that department before.

I'm 25. We have two children and I had one twin miscarriage in between them. I have endometriosis and have for quite awhile. It probably played a part in the miscarriage as having endo raises the risk of miscarriage even though they aren't quite certain why. I got pg the 6th cycle of ttc with each of the three pregnancies. I thought for certain I'd be pg by the 6th cycle this go around as well. We are now on our 7th cycle, so my "lucky" cycle went out the window.

I've been feeling really down and grumpy about it and life in general right now.

I'm 28 and we've been TTC since November of last year. Every single test has come back normal for both of us, yet we are still childless. I'm now on my second cycle of Clomid. We have "unexplained infertility" as of now but we are seeing a new specialist tomorrow so hopefully we will get some answers soon. I waited to have children until now to go through college, grad school, travel and establish my career and now I'm kicking myself for it. I feel like my fertile days are behind me.

I am also in my 20's (I am 27 next month) and DF is 27

We have been TTC #1 since April this year with no luck (and previously many years of BC with absolutely no oops happening either)

We are really hoping that this cycle is "the one" so that we can be pregnant for Christmas

That is so bizare! lol. I have read about many people having that issue. I don't think there will be much a dr can do for us either. Especially if there is really nothing wrong. Well you gave me some hope, lol. If you had two and then had an issue then I am more confident that there may not be anything wrong with me and DH.

I have read about secondary infertility. We havent seen a doc yet but if nothing works out for us in December we will be going in January. Maybe something has happened in between that time to one or both of us. Not sure but I am not feeling to happy about life right now either. Never thought I would have this problem and want a baby so bad but not be able to have one. It hurts a lot of the time but my DH stays so positive and optimistic that he can't really understand what I am feeling. He thinks I'm overreacting and tries to ensure me it will happen but he has no idea how heartbreaking it is month after month to be disappointed when AF shows.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed to that this month will happen for us and we can be PG for christmas. Isn't is funny how you spend so much time taking things to prevent getting pregnant and then when you are really trying to it doesn't happen. Makes me regret the time I spent on BC pills for years after my son cause now I can't seem to get pregnant again.

That is pretty funny about your DH sperm, lol. I wonder if something is wrong with my my DH's. He swears he doesn't think anything is wrong at all. But I know as a man it may be hard to face the fact that your boys just may not be right. I am making him go with me to see a doc after the holidays though if we still haven't had any luck. Good luck to you guys though I hope it happens for you real soon. I'm sure it will, you have gone through so much to make it happen and it will. BABYDUST

I am almost 25 and been trying for almost 3 years. I have a daughter who is going to be 3 (we started TTC again when she was 6 weeks) and we got pregnant with her on the 1st try. Always thought it would happen like that again but it took over a year to get pregnant again and it ended in a m/c with 2 more to follow.
I do have a blood clotting problem and I have to take like 12 pills a day for it but that shouldn't cause us not to get pregnant - just makes oy hard when it comes to staying pregnant.

I'm sorry tp hear that. I think it would be harder for me if I got PG and then lost it versus not getting PG at all right now. I get scared that it may be 2 or 3 years of us trying before we finally do get PG. That would suck because I am knocking close to 30 and my chances decrease even more by then.

I am 25, and my Dh is 29. We have no kids of our own, and have been TTC since March 2002 with no luck.

I'll be 28 in March and DH will be 30 in March and we are TTC #2 since July. We are just now on our 6th try. I wasn't really trying to get pg with DS. We had tried for 6 or 7 months prior to that and it wasn't working, so we just decided to let it go for a while and lo and behold here he is. He just turned 2 in October and I would really love to have my kids about 3 years apart. DH and his brother are 4 years apart and he says that they weren't really close because of the age difference. Me and my sister are 2 1/2 years apart which I think was great growing up.

I just can't understand why it is taking so long. DH seems to think it is just because I am stressing about it so much. So, this month we are taking a break from the Clomid, and we are just going to BD every other day instead of every day and try to relax. I am just starting to have dreams ( the last 2 nights in a row) about positive pg results. One dream I found out at the doc's and last night I found out on a FRER. I have never even taken that kind of test! I always use dollar tree so I have NO idea why I am dreaming about that kind. Wierd. Anyway, I am hoping for a BFP by the new year!

Hi! I'm 28 and have been trying since June 2005, about a year and a half. We have been through tons of tests, the majority of which are normal. The only thing not is my cycles which are irregular and I don't always ovulate effectively. We have tried three rounds of Clomid which helped me ovulate, but still no success and we will try up to three more with IUI if necessary.

It sucks that TTC is so hard for so many of us. Especially when you should be the most fertile in your twenties. At least we are not alone.

Hi there!!! This is my first time posting in here because I am on my sixth cycle now waiting to ovulate. I am 29 and my Dh is 33. We have a daughter who will be 2 next week. It took us three months of TTC before I was pregnant and now like I said this is my sixth month so we are waiting to see what happens. My doctor told me that DH and I are trying to hard!!!!
