I did it! I am so glad it is over. I was surprised at how fast it went although I did sleep for most of it and for most of today. The doctor retrieved nine eggs and tomorrow we will find out how many fertilized. I really hope several did so we can freeze some for future use. Thursday will be the transfer day which can not come soon enough. Then I am on strict bedrest for 36 hours and light activity for another two days. I bet the 2WW will be way way LONG this time around! At least I have x-mas shopping to do yet and a house to get ready for hosting our families to keep me busy. I get to have a blood test taken on the 18th.

My DH got to sit in the room with me today but I have no recollection of what really went on. He said I kept asking him the same questions over and over after the procedure. I am in a bit of pain today when I move around or just when I sit down.

That's a lot of eggies! I hope a lot of them are fertilized. Good luck with the transfer.
