Just need to ramble a bit.

Everyone at our church is absolutely wonderful, just wanted to say that up front before I go off on them!! I know they mean well, but EVERY week at least 1 or 2 ladies, sometimes more (and on a couple occasions one of the older gentlemen has even made a comment ) will ask me if I'm pregnant yet. They're mainly older ladies, and I'm pretty sure most of them view me as a grand daughter, but at the same time it's so very frustrating to hear them ask all the time kwim?

Pretty much what it does is just drive it home a little more that NO I'm STILL not preggo yet. My DH's brother and his wife go to the same church and they are expecting their second baby in June, so usually when someone starts talking to her about her pregnancy I start gritting my teeth because I know somewhere in the conversation one of the ladies will turn to me and ask so when you guys going to have another. AAGGHHHHH!!!

Don't get me wrong I'm so very happy for my bil and sil, but at the same time, I want so much for it to be me getting to talk about my growing little bean.

And also because of the complications and what happened with our last pregnancy even if we do get pg, we're not going to announce it until after a couple months, to make sure everything is going ok. So whenever I do get pg, I'm going to feel REALLY bad having to say no when everyone keeps asking if I am pg. SIGH!! I just wish they would stop asking.

Anyhoo, if you made it this far, thanks for listening to me ramble on. Take care everyone.

Baby blessings,
Sharon

I'm the same way. Actually, I'm so bitter when people ask me when we are going to have a baby, that I say "Not anytime soon, I'm too selfish to be a mom" I know that is bad, but it's my defense after YEARS of people asking. We have only started ttc in the last year, so I've been hearing it for 5 YEARS and I'm sick of it, kwim?
And at church it's gotta be really hard for you not to go off, cause you know they mean well, but at the same time you must feel like telling them to layoff.
I'm sorry you have to go through that every week, that sux

I know!!! We went in for a reversal and because we live in a small town and are both active in the community. Plus we have 2 children from his first marr., everyone knows. And they are always asking if we're pg yet. I always want to just start crying, its not like we arent trying!!!!! I've even had someone offer to "help"-just teasing of course. Hoping this is the month, if not will try again, so depressing.

Didn't anyone's mother teach them not to be rude? LOL I'm guilty of not attending church lately. I just don't feel like putting a fake smile on.
