Ok, so I recently switched gynos because my other one was a total jerk and pretty much told me that I was too fat to concieve. He never would do a bloodtest to check for pregnancy or anything so I got a new one. Anyway, I called my new one and just said that I needed to get one and in like 5 secs, the nurse said that she would draw up the paperwork and I could come get it done asap. Im so happy that they listened and were understanding. I will go get it done tomorrow because the hubby and I have plans for today so it will have to wait. YAY!!!

Good luck on the blood test! How long it takes the results to come back depends on if they have to send it out and how backed up the lab they send it to is. You should be able to get results the next day or in a couple of days.

I can't believ that your Dr told you that you were too fat OMG I would have been so mad!!!

But on the plus side I am glad that you found a good Dr that will listen to you. I always get my blood results back the next morning but I know it all depends on where the DR office has to send it off to.

Finding a doctor that values your opinion and listens to you is important. If my doctor had told me that I was too fat to conceive, well, they wouldn't still be my doctor either! Lots of babydust to you!}}}

Glad to hear you found a new doc. And thanks for posting what you did - the last doc I went to told me I was too fat too - not too fat to conceive, but just overweight in general! I mean, I'm not some skinny little girl, but I'm not anywhere near being overweight either!

So I've been in between docs for 2 years (yes, I know I'm baaaaaaaaaad) because it was such a bad experience that I've been putting off going back.

So maybe I'll just go somewhere else too.
