She told us what we already know first. All my tests came back fine and so did DH.

So the plan for the next 3 months is to go on clomid. (got my script for it)
If we still have no BFP by then we go back to see her and we are going to try IUI.

I really hope we get our BFP with just the clomid but at least it is something to look forward to.

That is awesome! I am so glad that you have a plan to fall back on if the Clomid does not work. Good luck to you.

Just wondering..if everything is fine why you are on clomid? I thought it was for an ovulation problem?? I just ask because my doc hasn't put me on it and I wonder if he should??

Clomid is used for all fertility. My doctor said it would help to stimulate my uterus and give us a better chance of getting that BFP. She said it would make it work harder to get pg. (or something like that, can't remember word for word)

How long have you been ttc?
We have been trying for 18 months now.

19 months Just had a lap, hysterosalpingogram, uterine scope and a d&c. The doc discovered that my cervix was almost completely closed because of a biopsy I had years ago. He said that was the only issue and that he stretched it for me. He was very surprised that I don't have painful periods. Apparently he said that the small opening would have made it very difficult for sperm to swim up. They would end up dying because of spending too much time in an acidic environment like the vagina. He believes that with this correction I should be pregnant very soon. I'm keeping my hopes up!

Bless your heart!! I am sorry you had to go through all of that, it seems like it would be so painful! I hope his correction does help and you get your BFP soon!! You too, Startingalloveragain.

I'm hoping the clomid will really help you out. Maybe that is all the boost you need to get you that much wanted BFP.
