So, it was somewhat painful, but not too bad. The right tube is completely clear, the dye was flowing through it with no problem at all. This surprised me since this is the side that we thought would have problems.
The left side however wouldn't allow the dye in at all. The radiologist even deflated the balloon on the catheter and pushed the catheter right up to the left tube opening and tried to push more dye in and nothing went through. He told me that to him the tube looks okay and that it could just be that the tube having a muscle spasm since it sometimes reacts that way to the dye or it could be blocked, he really couldn't tell for certain.
I also found out something else that could make it harder for me to get pregnant. Instead of the uterus being flat across on top, it dips down. The radiologist told me that by having a uterus shaped like that could make it act kind of like an IUD. The egg will come out of the tube, hit the dipped down uterus part and fall down instead of being able to float around and implant. It's still possible to get pregnant, it just may take longer. Not really what I wanted to hear when I'm already having problems. He doesn't think that it's changed since my last pregnancy, but it could have. It's just more likely that is how my uterus has always been shaped.
So, since it didn't show anything on the right side, which is the side that was "thick" I'm going to have to have an ultrasound to see what's going on over there.
