that I was pregnant - and in the delivery room. I was pushing and pushing and pushing and nothing was happening. And when I mean nothing, I mean nothing - I wasn't even in labor, but everyone was telling me to push.
It was like I knew it was too early, I felt like I was only around 7 months pregnant, but I was pushing anyway, because everyone thought it was time.
When nothing happened, the doctor said that he was going to give me pitocin to get things going. And I told him that I wanted the epidural first.
So...we're waiting...and waiting...and waiting for the epidural man to get there, and the nurse (who was disguised as just another patient - an old man patient) was wanting to put the catheter in. I told her/him?? no way, that she had to wait until after I had the epidural.
So we waited...and waited...some more. I got tired of waiting, got dressed, left everyone in my room at the hospital and went shopping with a friend.
Then I woke up.
That's what I get for reading all of those birth stories over in the DDC's.
