Anyone that has had the HSG, did you find you Oed at a normal time? I think I'm still waiting for it. Grr. During bding the other day I was having some discomfort. Anyone know if you can get a cyst before you O? I would hate to have another one!

I actually O'd a couple days earlier after I had the HSG, but this cycle it's back to being later.

You can get a cyst before ovulation if the follicle turns into a cyst. Sometimes just follicle growth can hurt. I hope it's not a cyst you have.

So are you saying that the follicle becomes a cyst and therefor does not release an egg? Am I getting that right?

yeah, it can happen that way. A lot of times the cyst develops after the egg is released.
