Hello Ladies,
I haven't been around in a few days... kinda bummed out since AF came after I was 9 days late . But anyway, this is my first month temping and I noticed that my temp this morning was way higher than normal... (Af tapered off yesterday) Is is possible that I ovulated on my period?
This sucks if so... just wasted another month.
Thanks girls

Hi Michelle,

Unfortunately i know nothing about temping, i;m just about to start trying to do this and i'm waiting on af coming to start. Have you looked into the question and answer in fertility friend, there may be some info there. Sorry af really mucked you about, 9 days late that is a real bummer. Sorry for not being able to help but one of the other girls will be able to give you some info.

Pauline xxxx

Hi Michelle,

Usually one elevated temperature does not indicate ov. You must have a maintained elevation of at least 3 days in order to show that ov has occurred (that sounds awfully technical). The reason is that something may have caused the rise-perhaps you had a restless sleep, woke up during the night, woke up at a different time than normal, perhaps you're coming down with something.

I would think that it is highly unlikely that you ov'd right after your period, unless you have long af's and a really short cycle...

Hope this helps,

Tracy
