Hello all! New to the message boards and have been wanting to find a good place to go for a long time. This looks like a great place to get lots of great information. So, my husband and I got married last August and he has 3 children from a previous marriage that we have custody of. I love them like my own and they call me mom, but we really want to have 1 or 2 more. So, he had a vasectomy reversal at the end of may last year, but no success yet. Just wondering if there is anybody else out there that has been through the same thing and if there are any tricks you can teach us?? I wasn't getting frustrated until just recently when 2 people at my work just found out they were pregnant and not even trying. HELP! Kristy

I haven't personally been through a vasectomy reversal situation but I know a few people who have and they just kept trying. That was about all they could do, the couple of people I know did get pregnant, it just took some time. Good luck and lots of baby dust

Kristy, my DH had a reversal done in Nov of 2005 and still no luck for us We recently had his SA done and he only has a count of 3million We were told our best bet right now is to do IVF

DH had a reversal done in the beginning of May last year, well in the middle but thats not important. It took us 8 months to conceive and unfortunately it ended in m/c. so now we have been trying for 4 more months after that unfortunate event and no luck. To be honest with you, I am getting quite frustrated.

We have had one official SA done and I dont remember exactly what it said but anywho, he had some sperm although the count had some improving to do. Now, we just depend on the good ole microscope. He gives me a sample and I play scientist and look for sperm!!! I see tons now so I am confident that it is just a matter of time before we get pregnant again. Or atleast I am hoping!!

I havent gone through it either but heres baby dust to you just keep trying and stay positive as hard as it is...hugs.
