As many of you know already, I teach Piano lessons.

I teach this one little girl who is cute as a button, she's 4. Her mom is a nice enough lady, but it can sometimes be a real challenge to deal with her. So we don't have the best relationship. But that doesn't bother me so much.

What did bother me, yesterday - when my student was leaving her lesson, the mother turned to me and said "Happy Moth....oh never mind, I guess I don't need to say that to you."

She knows we're trying, although she doesn't know how hard we've been trying. But isn't that kind of crappy the way she handled the situation when she mis-spoke?

I don't know. I'm just overly sensitive about this topic, just like everyone on this board.

It's things like that that just get under my skin sometimes.

Geez people like her make me soooo mad
It is emotional enough ttc without people being so darn thoughless.
We have ttc for 3yrs and i have encountered rudeness like i never imagined possible!

I will say a huge HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to you and all of us with no babies yet, as we are Mothers
at heart and are just waiting for our children that's all

Take no notice of women that ignorant. I have learnt to ignore people's comments nowadays
