If you are married (or engaged), how did your dh propose?

I had been in West Virginia for a while taking care of my Dad. When I came home, Matt was at the train station waiting on me. He dropped down on one knee right in front of everyone and proposed. It was so sweet!

Well DH and I had been dating for about 3 months (mind you we had know of each other for many years) and he was in the army and he was coming home the next weekend and he called me and said do you want to get married when I come home? Of course I said yes and we were married at the courthouse on that Monday and I moved to Ft Campbell 1 month later. And yes almost 6 years later we are still happily married. He is my best friend and my soulmate. I love him with all my heart!

We went to Olive Garden which is where we went on our first date and then went home and he told me to wait in our bedroom. When I came out he set up candles in the living room and had the ring on the table and proposed.

Jena, my DH and I move quick too. Only we hadn't known each other for a long time like that. We met online in June of 05 and started talking very seriously in October 05. I drove out to meet him in November 05, and by March 06 I had moved out here permanently! lol We didn't get married right away though. We just married in June 07, so we had known each other for 2 years by that point.

He didn't propose, he just told me we were getting married, lol

And we got married quickly too I guess. Introduced in late May, engaged in October & then married in March.

dated for a month, then got engaged. then got married a month later!!!

we were friends before, but not close.

Ah, what cute stories! My DH sent me on a treasure hunt with clues such as "the place we had our first kiss" etc which ended up at a beautiful spot by the sea. My 'treasure' was my engagement ring and he did a picnic for us and proposed.
