Did your parents name you after anyone? If you have children did you name them after anyone? Do you plan on naming any future children after anyone?

For me my mom named me after one of her customers that she had had working at a fabric store. Her customer had just had a baby girl and spelt Jenna with 2 N's. Well my mom liked it so much she kept however only using 1N- Jena. And my middle name Michelle is named after one of my dads ex-girlfriends. hehehehehe.

My kids names will be
Delaney Lynn Ziegfeld- Initials DLZ are the same as my mother in law and Lynn is my moms middle name
Logan Steven Ziegfeld- Steven is my DH's name and his dads name.

I was named after my mom's friend in high school.
I was supposed to be Peggy Sue (because my dad liked the name), but my mom was still
"under the influence" and wrote the wrong name on the birth certificate!

I tried adoption ten years ago and named that child after my girlfriend, Avery isn't named after anyone.
I don't have any plans to name another child after anyone, but you never know!!!

I am named after my Dad. He was Steven Micheal, and I am Stephanie Michelle. My DD's middle name Dawn, was for one of my best friends in high school, and my DS was named after his great grandfather and his father. If I have another son he will be named after my father and DH, Steven Paul (Paul is DH's middle name). Any children we have after that will have either a first or middle name with religious symbolism.

every name in rienn's name is after someone we know
rienn- is after one of hubbie's best friends, his name is ryan.
kay- is my mothers middle name
- ....its just there for looks ...lol
lee- is my moms best friends middle name( she passed away before riri was born and she is the main reason i picked the name ), my fathers middle name and a very good friend that passed aways middle name
nicole- is after my best friend of 23yrs

dominigue - is after an Olympic gymnast that my mom loved.
shawna is for my hubbies sister

if we have a boy the middle names will be christopher stephen
christopher - after my older brother
stephen after my hubbies father that was killed a few years ago.
and i f we have another girl the one of the middle names will be mikael after one of our good friends that passed away ( same person that is listed under lee for riri)

Did your parents name you after anyone? no. in fact, my parents thought i was a boy, so they had already named me! joshua david...lol. well, when i came out a girl, they had no idea what to name me. i was nameless for about two or three days! funny thing, when my sister had her first son she named him joshua david...kinda after me!!! now he is having a baby boy, and it's joshua david jr! so i have two people named 'after' me!

If you have children did you name them after anyone? i named my daughter after two people, sorta...lol. her name is allyson, i loved the old west and named her after clay allison, but spelled it like june allyson!

Do you plan on naming any future children after anyone? i tease DH about naming a boy after him, but he gets really mad when i do! my mom says any girl needs to be a combo of her name and DH's mother's name! nah, too old-fashioned!

My mom's middle name is Lee and my middle name is Marie so I took Mar from Marie and Lee and made MARLEE for a girl and if we have a son he'll be David which is my husband's name and FIL's name.
