We all know that TTC is tough at times. What do you do to help yourself from going into the depression state?

I shop! I love shopping! It always makes you feel good!

I also keep reminding myself that it gives my DH and I some more time together to do fun things and not worry about a babysitter or if we have enough diapers with us. So we'll go out and do something totally silly - like Chuck E Cheese! LOL Or even just going through stores like Goodwill and look for treasures - I doubt we'd do that with a baby. We hit like 5 in a row a couple of weeks ago and it was so much fun! I ended up with a couple of vintage 70s Snoopy glasses for 99 cents each!

i love to shop also when i get depressed. unfortunately, i've been depressed too much the past couple of weeks! i've spent a fortune online, lol! i also like to read...so i bought a bunch of trashy romance novels to indulge myself in! luckily, whenever i'm depressed my DH always does something sweet. last saturday he played with my hair for a long time!

i also like to stay busy doing 'fun' stuff. football season is approaching, so i know we'll be going tailgating. that's always fun and it gets my mind off TTC.

As cheesy as this sounds...... I pray. I have recently gone back to church and I am growing in my religion right now. I feel so much better after I pray and read my bible, that now the minute I start feeling depressed, that's what I do.

I have a big splurge on a treat and do a lovely candlelit meal for DH with nice wine. I am feeling pretty down right now as I have AF and it makes me feel doubly worse for not being pg as I'm brimming with hormones! I have also learnt self hypnosis and can really help myself perk up with that.

Ater I had an ectopic I became more religious.I pour out my heart to God.

I turn to JM and vent to my girls. Funny how writing about what you're going through with people who understand makes all the difference! The people here are wonderful.
