So confused this cycle i have had a 30 day cycle so i should o tomorrow ( wednesday ) on cd 16. Well i have been testing with opk's since cd 10 and i am getting no lh surge dont understand it ?? I have been having positive lh surge before, so its not as if i ahvent used these test before. Surely i should have a surge by now ??? Especially since i should o tomorow. The cycle before i o'ed on time so this time should be right also. Even though i o'ed on the right days last month is it possible not to o this month ?? Or will i o later but if that was the case then i would have o'ed later the time before wouldnt i??? Hope i make sense. It sure isnt making sense to me. Arghhh cant take this. Do i keeep on testing and if so for how much longer ??? Hope somebody can help me.

Hello. I am sorry that you are having such a difficult time. I wouldn't say that this cycle is a bust. Sometimes you can just o late. And unfortunately some cycles you just don't ov. But don't get too worried! I would test a couple of more times and see what happens. Do you also chart your temps? That may give you some insight as well. Good luck!

Ok thanks for that michelle, but i have always thought when you get the lh surge that means you are about to o . As i get that for 2 days so that meant that it is over the 24 hr period ?

Sometimes stress can delay ovulation too. I wouldn't give up yet on this cycle either. My cycles used to be like clockwork - that is until I started TTC. Now they are all over the place.

And once you get your LH surge that means you will most likely O within 12-48 hours. Good luck!!!!
