Just found out that my DH has no sperm at all. NONE. He has a blockage caused by an op he had as a baby. We now will have to go down the fertility treatment route. I know there are options including surgical ones. I can't believe we've spent the last year trying and hoping like idiots. I am glad in a way to know that yes there is a problem and this is what we'll have to do. I'm gutted though to know I'll never surprise my DH with a BFP because it will be a case of 'has this IVF cycle worked?' I think we're in for a tough ride. I'd better buckle up! We have to wait for an appointment with a specialist and will have to go private so we'll have to reassess our money. It just feels so unfair.

I am so sorry hun. I hope the RE has some good news for you with what options you are able to do. I completely know what you mean from feeling gutted. My DH has low motility and I dont ovulate and we felt liked idiots before we found hoping that we would get preggo on our own. We are headed down the IVF route as well. I wish you and DH the best of luck. Keep me posted on how the doctors goes.
