I got a call today from the fertility specialist's office saying an appointment opened up tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. Normally this would be super exciting news since I've been waiting for an appointment and mine isn't even scheduled until the end of November. I was able to get an Obgyn appointment for 10/31, but that is because I don't have a regular Obgyn and was hoping she could tell me my next step. Seeing the fertility specialist would eliminate that step, I guess. Anyway, I took the appointment, but now I need $315 by 4 p.m. tomorrow. I am worried that the doctor will just prescribe me Clomid and tell me to come back if that doesn't help. Am I wasting my money??? I was hoping to go in tomorrow and bring a copy of my FF charts, but I need help forming a list of things I need to ask him. I know when I'm there I won't remember everything I want to say and then I'll be kicking myself that I spent $315 and didn't even get all my questions answered. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!! I don't even know what happens at this appointment. They don't do an exam do they? See! I am so nervous and making myself feel even worse!!

Thanks in advance.

Try posting this on the TTC w/ Medical Assistance Board. I think the majority of the women there have seen a fertility specialist (I was prescribed clomid by my OB/Gyn).
Good Luck!!!

Clomid #1: 50mg--no labs drawn
Clomid #2: 50 mg, Progesterone Level: 0.6
Clomid #3: 100mg--no labs drawn
Clomid #4: 100mg, Progesterone Level: 6.6
Clomid #5: 150mg, Progesterone Level: 10.8
Break from Clomid due to finding out DH S/A showed poor morphology (0-4%).
Repeat S/A on 2/7 and Urologist appointment on 2/21: Results showed abnormally high sperm count, so when that is taken into consideration, the morphology is normal.
First RE appointment: 3/17
