I just wanted to see what everyones Cultural Backgrounds are!! Where are you from, your parents. Your DH. All that fun stuff. What are your traditions?

Mine: Im from Newfoundland Canada! I was born and raised there until i was 8 years old, then came up to Edmonton Alberta Canada! My mom is from Ireland, my dad is from Newfoundland. So im a mixed breed..LOL!! We have family traditions that we follow most of the time. Sundays are our day to have a big breakfast together, no matter where we are we get together. Christmas time we do Mummers, we have special foods that we eat on Christmas Eve, like Fish and Brews, salted cod, salt beef, cabbage, turnip.

Dh, he was born in Newfoundland Canada as well!! Hes been in Edmonton, for 10 years now. He loves it here. He was adopted as a small child so he doesnt really know his parents background. But he was born in NFLD. We share the same traditions. On Christmas Eve, our children put on a play for the adults, and thats their way to say thanks for everything.
