Hi,
I've only posted on here a handful of times since about May '07...my hubby and I (both turned 30 in the past few weeks) have been ttc #1 since Apr '07. Even though I was ovulating but the OB put me on 50 mg clomid in Sept, Oct & Nov(last attempt) to give even a better chance, but just got my period today. As I had mentioned in my other posts, both our tests have come out normal and my period is like clockwork smack on 28th day so I am so confused and depressed that we haven't been able to concieve yet? In Nov was probably our best attempt yet as we tried everyday from day 11 to 15.
Also, I've bought the OV Watch as it seemed to have good reviews and I seemed to have a hard time keeping up w/ urine tests at the same time of the day.

This was the 3rd and final attempt made w/ clomid per my OB, and she has advised me to seek infertility treatment w/ referrals to Shady Grove..I am waiting on my new insurance to kick in the new yr(since they cover a decent portion of fertility treatments) and then try invitro or whatever else they may suggest...

I'm getting overwhelmed w/ all that i'm reading(n' i can't stop) on the internet about fertility and am wondering, if everything seems to be "normal" and I am on pre-men vitamins already and timing intercourse, is there anything else we can do to tip the odds in our favor...please help, i'm losing hope fast and am just so down today w/ AF arriving!!

I don't have much tips, I know how you're feeling we've seemed to have tried everything too!! good luck!

Hi,
It's def helpful to talk to ppl in the same boat n' I hope you have the best of luck w/ a BFP soon! It's Aetna, but apparently some articles that I read online stated some insurances(i'm not sure if this one does) requires the Employer to participate in the infertility plan...not exactly sure of the details yet, but will be sure to let you know once we do find out...

As far as the OV watch...this month(3rd attempt w/ Clomid) was the 1st time I had tried it, n' AF's here, so didn't work any miracles for me..however, I had read reviews about ppl TTC for 8+ mths who conceived the 1st month w/ it....I guess in the grand scheme of things when you compared to infertility treatments $$$, I figured why not give it shot. Also, there's something on their website about a guarantee that if you don't conceive w/in the 1st 3 months of getting watch(I got the pkg w/ 3 censors included), they give you another 3 months free...+ I was tired of peeing on sticks so figured I'd just splurge!

Since I have perfectly regular 28 day periods and am ovulating naturally (and feel the ovulation pains), it's only reaffirming what I already knew...I'm ovulating day 14...so unless the excitement of this new gadget n' not peeing on sticks can help conception=), I don't know what else this watch is going to do for me, but I'll try to keep an open mind and be positive. Best of luck to you and keep me posted if good news comes along!

NP, n' don't fret about the cycle...hasn't helped me to get a BFP so we're still in the same boat at the end of the day! On the upside, the more ppl/friends I talk to, the more it seems that it's really not out of the ordinary for it to take this long...
