For us we always have a real tree. We are contimplating get a fake tree this year if we can find one we like.

I have a fake tree. It was my mothers, when i was a little girl..so its really special. and its a older one that LOOKS real, and u cant see the pole in the middle..

I grew up with fake...and always loved, wanted a real one....so we got one this year!!!!! I'm so excited! I love it!!! especially the smell!

always had fake growing up. havent put one up yet in our married life (4yrs) dont mean to be a grouch but until kids happen we probably wont just doesnt feel right with out a baby. but then i would love to go REAL.

We usually put up a fake tree, its one of those small ones that can sit on a table, lol. I also agree that without kids around it just doesn't feel right. This year we are not putting a tree up because we have 2 young cats (6 + 7 months) and they are crazy and would probably destroy the poor tree

We had real tree when I lived in the midwest, but when we moved, my parents bought a artificial tree right away. My mom gave me their artificial tree, used it once, then skipped a year and didn't do a tree, then had a real tree last year and plan to get one again this year.

All of my trees are artificial. We have never had a real tree. Each year we say "maybe we should get a real tree this year" but we never do it. Maybe one day!
