I reported in another thread that I usually have 28 or 27 day cycles, o on cd 15 or 16. Occasionally I will have an oddball 23 day cycle where I o on day 9. This month, I started spotting brown on cd 19. I thought, cool, implantation. Then it turned into a full on period. Here I am on my fifth day of my period (I usually bleed for a day and a half) and it has turned completely brown. My mom swears that this happened to her with each of her six pregnancies and that the doc told her she was getting rid of old blood. My mom would tell me anything I want to hear so I am not sure if this is true. Anyone ever heard of heavy implantation bleeding or getting rid of old blood? Or do you think I just had a random anovulatory cycle or a really short one? Thanks!

well i havent heard of heavy implantation bleeding. But i have heard of getting rid of old blood. Sometimes that does happen. but in a good way. I know that sometimes in my pregnancys i have bleeding like that and i would rush to the hospital, and they said everything looked fine, but it was old blood. When u become pregnant, your uterus holds lots of blood. and when u do activities, like DTD it will come out. If i were you i would wait a bit then test, just to see what the results say..
