Hello everyone. My name is Michelle, 25 and DH is Chris, 28. We have now been ttc for almost 7 months. It's crazy how fast it has gone by. A little background as to what's going on with me...I went for a pre ttc appointment in mid June, got bloodwork done, etc. When the Dr. got the bloodwork back, she said all signs point to PCOS, so she started me on Metformin and sent me for an ultrasound to confirm. At the ultrasound, I had one cyst, so they scheduled a follow up in 6 weeks and it was gone. So, my Dr. said according to the ultrasound, I didn't have PCOS. I don't have endo. either. Before we started TTC, my cycles were always 32-34 days. I started taking the Metformin before we started ttc, and my first cycle was 49 days with no confirmed O date. Then, I went almost 5 months with no AF the next cycle! I saw my Dr. a few times and she didn't seem concerned at all about my AF being MIA or that we were ttc and having this problem! After about 4 months of no AF, I decided to stop taking the Metformin because I think that is what messed up my cycles. I called my Dr. and had to practically beg her to give me a Rx for Provera so I would start AF. Started my last AF on November 30th, so it's been 42 days now and no AF in sight! I've decided not to go back to my Dr. I'm gonna try to find a new one, but wanna pay down the bills from all my visits first. I'm hoping that I start soon and I don't have to go so long without an AF again! This is getting really frustrating! I am also a member of WTTC and alot of the girls over there are graduating and getting their BFPs and I just feel like I'm gonna be left behind. I kinda already am. I think I am the only one left from TTC starting last summer. I think it will be good to have others who understand how it is to be ttc for awhile and will understand when I am feeling down about it all. I can't wait to get to know you all and I hope everyone gets their BFPs really soon! Babydust all around!
