Hello everyone. My name is Michelle, 25 and DH is Chris, 28. We have now been ttc for almost 7 months. It's crazy how fast it has gone by. A little background as to what's going on with me...I went for a pre ttc appointment in mid June, got bloodwork done, etc. When the Dr. got the bloodwork back, she said all signs point to PCOS, so she started me on Metformin and sent me for an ultrasound to confirm. At the ultrasound, I had one cyst, so they scheduled a follow up in 6 weeks and it was gone. So, my Dr. said according to the ultrasound, I didn't have PCOS. I don't have endo. either. Before we started TTC, my cycles were always 32-34 days. I started taking the Metformin before we started ttc, and my first cycle was 49 days with no confirmed O date. Then, I went almost 5 months with no AF the next cycle! I saw my Dr. a few times and she didn't seem concerned at all about my AF being MIA or that we were ttc and having this problem! After about 4 months of no AF, I decided to stop taking the Metformin because I think that is what messed up my cycles. I called my Dr. and had to practically beg her to give me a Rx for Provera so I would start AF. Started my last AF on November 30th, so it's been 42 days now and no AF in sight! I've decided not to go back to my Dr. I'm gonna try to find a new one, but wanna pay down the bills from all my visits first. I'm hoping that I start soon and I don't have to go so long without an AF again! This is getting really frustrating! I am also a member of WTTC and alot of the girls over there are graduating and getting their BFPs and I just feel like I'm gonna be left behind. I kinda already am. I think I am the only one left from TTC starting last summer. I think it will be good to have others who understand how it is to be ttc for awhile and will understand when I am feeling down about it all. I can't wait to get to know you all and I hope everyone gets their BFPs really soon! Babydust all around!

Michelle

Hi and
I'm Lindsey 21 married to DH Simon 22 since March 2007. We're on cycle #13. Just saw a RE and will be starting fertility drugs, unless we have a miracle BFP this cycle!

HI Michelle, I am Carrie. We are on our 7th cycle of ttc. I know what you mean about feeling left behind. My sister and I wanted to try and time our babies together. She is due in two month so that clearly did not work out. We are just waiting for God to pick our egg! Welcome and here's to BFPs all around!

Hey Michelle, I just happened to see this thread and wanted to say hi.
I am from WTTC and I'm still TTC also, I know it is not quite the same because I did get a BFP, but all the same I have been trying since June. We're on the 3rd cycle so far post m/c and my BFN yesterday totally bummed me out because I thought maybe I would be in the Sept. DDC with lots of the other girls.

It's really hard, I don't even go over to WTTC Grads much anymore because it seems like everyone is getting pregnant and I just feel like I am left behind.

I hope your cycles get straightened out soon and you get your BFP.

Hey everyone! It's nice to meet you all. Thanks for the replies! Hi Shannon! I totally forgot that you started ttc in June too! I'm sorry about you not getting your BFP this month. I really wanted to be in the Sept. DDC as well! There are so many WTTC grads there! It's crazy! Anyways. DH and I went and bought some zinc and folic acid for him to take and some Vitex for me! Has anyone heard anything about Vitex? I researched it some and from what I've read, it seems to work pretty good at regulating cycles and helping you ovulate! We went ahead and got zinc and folic acid for DH even though he has never been checked out because he smokes and drinks ALOT of caffeine every day, so I'd be surprised if he didn't have a low sperm count. He's really on board with doing whatever he needs to do to help out with ttc. It makes me really happy since he was the one we were waiting on to be ready to ttc. Well, I hope we all get our BFPs really soon!

Michelle
