I have to go in for yet another blood draw today to check my hcg levels. They were 19.5 last week and I would have just left it at that, but the docs office said I had to go in again. The last woman who drew blood was not very good at it. I have a huge vein in my arm, you'd think she'd be able to tap it pretty easily.

I've been looking all over for how long after a miscarriage a woman will O. The numbers seem to be all over the board. I couldn't figure out if I'd O on a somewhat regular time line based off of the day I started bleeding or if it would be based off the day all the hcg was out of my system. Anyone know?

I feel like I'm on my way to Oing next week, which would be 3 weeks after I started bleeding, so that would be pretty much on time for me when my body decides it'll be on some sort of a regular cycle.

I know the chances of me getting pregnant this cycle are pretty slim since it took us a year the first time. I am doing really well, but I think I'll have a rough day or two if AF shows at the end of this cycle. I'm preparing myself for it, but know I'll still be a bit moody if she shows.

I hope your blood draw goes better this time Cel. I don't know anything about HCG levels post miscarriage, but I think it is great you feel like you will ovulate soon! And I think your BFP will be coming again much sooner then a year from now

No, I don't use opk's. I never have. I know too many people who get confused using those. Plus, I think I'd use a fortune on them since I don't always know when my body is thinking about O'ing. Temping usually tells me what I need to know.

I made the woman take blood from my other arm today. She did it very different from the other three who have taken my blood recently. I have a nice sore spot and a big bruise from her method.

Thanks michelle

I've been waiting for the docs office to call all afternoon. Usually they say it could take 2 days, but then call me the afternoon of the first day with results. I wanted to ask the nurse practitioner a few questions when she calls. I turned the ringer on my phone even though it's never on. I also brought the phone with me when I went to the bathroom so I wouldn't miss the call. I know, sort of pathetic, but if I don't answer when they call it's nearly impossible to get a hold of someone to talk to.
