did you weigh when you were born?

I weighed 6lb 12oz.

I've just spoken to a friend and her 16 year old daughter gave birth on Monday to a 11lb 4 oz baby boy!!!

I was 7 lbs 6 oz. My DH was 6 lbs 9 oz.

I can't imagine pushing out an 11 pound baby!!!

7 lbs 5 1/2 oz for me, DHw as 4 lbs 10 oz.

I was somewhere around 7 lbs...........my dd was 10 lbs 3 oz. I had to have a csection.

I was in the 7 pound range (so was my sister). DH was a 10 pounder, so was his older (and only full) brother. I think his mother told me all 5 of her kids were that big. She gave vaginal birth to all of them. I don't know what his Dad's other 5 kids were and I don't know that he was even at all of those births. Even if he had been, he wouldn't remember the weights.

I was 6lbs 1.5 oz when I was born. DH was 3lbs 7oz when he was born (3 months premature) and dropped a bit too. I hope I don't have a baby as large as my oldest nephew though- he was 10lbs 2oz! OUCH!!!
