I'm having a great day today I got an invite for a first interview screening for a job I applied for and I think I may be ovulating.
I applied for the job earlier this week. It wasn't posted for my state, but the hiring manager works in this area. Usually when my company posts an available job online, they are going through the steps, but already know who they are hiring. I was super surprised to get a call and to get one this quickly. Usually it's weeks before they call anyone.
I haven't made my FF chart public and haven't updated it in a few weeks. I should go do that since I am Oing and want it to confirm. Anyway, below is a pic of my charts from Oct through now. The red is this month. If my body doesn't decide to fake me out a few times like it did last month, we have a good chance of catching the egg Sorry it's a crappy picture. I wasn't sure how to take a graph from excel and save it as an image and I was too lazy to figure out how to do it nicely right now. If you click on the chart and view it full size it looks much better.

I had my phone screening. It went well until they asked if I was willing to move to a ridiculously expensive area of IL or a backwoods area of VT if I got the job. I said no. I don't think I'll be hearing back for a face to face interview. Oh well. The hiring manager lives where I do and works remotely like I do, so I don't see why it would be a problem if I continued to work remotely.

Vermont isn't all bad, but there's no way I could live where they would want me to be. 2 years ago I was there at least 1 week every month. While it's pretty for a month or two in the summer, their winters suck. I live in WI and think their winters are bad They joke about how they have 3 seasons. Winter, summer and mud and summer only lasts about a month. Flights are ridiculously expensive in and out of that area and while they're close to boston it ends up being a 5 or 6 hour drive since it's all back roads and slow going. I like where I live since we have a nice sized airport here and we're only about 90 minutes from downtown Chicago. Anytime I need a bigger city we can take off down there and I can get my fill.

Thanks everyone. I hope we caught the eggie too. If we do, I'll be due less than 2 months after my 5 year anniversary with my company. Once I have 5 years in, I'm fully vested in their pension. Then I can quit We always thought I would work once we have kids even though I didn't want to. We looked at our taxes this year with only DH's income and it looks like we can swing one income if we want. That makes me want a BFP and a sticky bean this month even more.
