I made beef stew for my parents and I. DH is off coaching so I hate to cook for myself. My mom said she'd stop by the bakery and get some fresh Italian bread and some cannoli's for dessert on the way over. YUMMY!!! Forget the stew- I jsut want dessert!

Your dinners sound great. I love good cannoli. I have a story I think aaronnicole would like DH and I were in Boston getting cannoli and this tiny little bakery. They fill them as you order them. It was so packed inside that DH decided to wait outside, but didn't tell me what he wanted them filled with. I got his attention and was signing to him asking what he wanted inside his cannoli. Since the bakery is so full, I have my hands over my head signing to him. My signing was worse then than it is now. I couldn't figure out how to ask him exactly, so I improvised. I put up my left hand with my fingers curled in an O and was poking the pointer finger of my right hand into the whole. I did it a few times before I realized what I was doing. A bunch of the people in the bakery were staring at me and DH was outside cracking up.

I don't know what we're doing for dinner. I know we'll have a salad with whatever we have. I have a pear, avacado an some asiago cheese to put in the salad.

Too funny Cel!

I had a brocolli and cheese calzone that I picked up at a bakery I had to stop at on the way home from work. DH isn't home tonight, so no cooking for me!
