I don't have a lot of the pics up yet, but Ryder had his birthday party today!
His actual birthday was yesterday. I worked a half day and got off shortly after 12:30 and got to spend time with him. We did some last minute present shopping and we went and saw my aunt that is dying because she had been asking to see him on his birthday. After that we went to Mom and Dad's for some ice cream cake (he got a tiny sliver of a piece lol) that way he did something special but could still save the first cake for his party

After that we went out with my boyfriend, Mike, so he could get his present for him and we stopped at Steak N Shake for dinner. There, Ryder did something for the first time ever! He used a straw correctly! He'd gotten close, but he actually got it right!
Then we went home and he crashed...
Today we got up and I decided to let him wear his pirate costume for a bit to get used to it.
Then I went to Mom's and baked his pirate cakes...
Mike came early to help me decorate and set up. He also helped me wrap gifts because I wasn't able to get them all done! I don't have pictures of the inside decorations but here's the outside of the house:
After everyone arrived and we ate and sang happy birthday, Ryder got his first ever taste of chocolate cake
He honestly wasn't that messy with it! And yes he does have a fake ear ring in and a fake tattoo on. Pirates wear both

LOL!
I have way more pics from the party coming, but I was busy the whole time entertaining and keeping an eye on Ryder and trying to make sure Mike wasn't feeling awkward cause it was only his second time to meet Mom and he was meeting everyone else for the first time lol. So I got lazy with my camera but my awesome brother recorded most of it, and my sister in law took LOTS of pics and with her being a photography major and having super awesome cameras I'm excited to see how they turned out.
Ryder got enough toys to last the next 3 years I swear! He got an outdoor castle slide thing cause it was originally $70ish and I found it for under $50 on clearance. He also got a tent with a tunnel he can crawl in, a Tonka truck, matchbox cars, an inflatable ball pit plus balls, a Star Wars ball, a train set, a toy remote controller cause he thinks mine are toys meant for him lol, a toy vacuum cleaner, an activity table and ball popper from my sister, a little scooter toy, talking Ernie doll, and a stuffed puppy from mom and dad, a huge stuffed monkey from my uncle Dick, Superman bowling pins and balls (soft ones) from my brother and his wife, an R2D2 stuffed animal that makes noises from my other brother, an outfit and Lightning McQueen car from an old gf of mine, and Mike got him a talking soccer set that comes with a goalie and soccer ball and when he scores it says stuff like "good job!" or "nice shot"... he's a huge soccer nut and loves to try to get Ryder to be one too lol.
So yeah, like I said, he won't be needing any toys for a loooooooong while!
