How many LO's cooperate when you brush their teeth? And how do you do it?

We just use a little toothbrush, no toothpaste at this point and try to brush as well as we can. But the little dude likes to bite and chew anything near his mouth, so it's a battle! All 4 of my kids fought us when it came to brushing their teeth until they are about 2, then they are ok. Yes, they are all ornery

I give DS a toddler toothbrush with just a very tiny amount of baby safe toothpaste. I hand it to him after his nightly bath and let him have at it. Most nights I sit down on the floor with him and brush my teeth too. Some nights he'll let me brush his teeth for 30 seconds. Most nights he gets mad and won't let me. I figure him chewing the brush and moving it around on his own is good enough for now.

we started this a while ago now. we have the finger toothbrush and paste, we do it nightly after his bath. he does really good.

kinda funny, dh will do it and get frustrated b/c the first time you put it in his mouth, you have to let him lick it, then you can brush to your hearts content. now, dh gets all frustrated and wants to just brush them, and chase will bite him! lol. if he would have a little patience, it would work great! lol..men!!!

We have been doing this for a while as well. He gets his teeth brushed every night b/f bed and LOVES it!! As soon as I pull out the toothbrush he opens his mouth real wide...lol...we use the baby safe toothpaste and he does really well with it.

We brush every night after his bottle. We have a little fingerbrush, and he does pretty well, except he bites!

I let Aleyah play with the toothbrush while she bathes then she lets me brush them but she still likes to chew on the brush

There are no teeth, but whenever Max's bedtime story mentions tooth-brushing I rub my finger into his lips a little, and it makes him grin.

Isla LOVES to have her teeth brushed! She thinks its hilarious. She only has two teeth so I don't stress to do it every day, but pretty often so she is used to it. Keller still hates having his teeth brushed

LOL- I could have written this! This is exactly what I do except I give him his toothbrush while I'm trying to get his night diaper on. He will sometimes let me brush them a bit, but most of the time he wants to do it himself.
