Just wondering how many times a day you give whole milk once they turn 1? I'm thinking 8oz in the morning and at night. Would this be sufficient? Right now she gets 6-8 3x a day but I'm thinking of dropping the middle one if it doesnt matter so much anymore.

Tyler was drinking 3 sippy cups a day, once at breakfast, one at lunch and one at dinner or bed. Now he's on coconut milk and doesn't seem to like it as much, so we're lucky to get it in at breakfast...still working on finding something he'll drink. He's challenging!

I remember reading somewhere that they shouldn't have any more than 24 oz so they will eat food and not fill up on milk. So 2-3 times a day sounds right to me

i read in one of these what to expect books, says measure out 3 cups of milk and they shouldnt really exceed that daily. if under or over in a 7 day period, its okay, but to make sure it kinda evens out.

but, if he wants it, he wants it! geesh. he eats and drinks other stuff as well, so i am not going to measure it daily! but thats just me

Our ped just told me today not more than 16-20oz per day, other wise they fill up on that and don't get the other nutrients they need.
