Is anyone's LO showing signs of milk allergies yet?

I've tried a couple different times to give Megan regular milk and she gets diarrhea the entire day. We've had her on soy milk and almond milk for 2 months now and she doesn't seem to have a problem with those types.

Sounds like a reaction! My son did the same thing at 1. I put him on soy milk for about 4 months and tried again with the cows milk. Then he did fine!

Whenever my son comes into contact with milk protein he has bloody diarrhea for a week Happened a couple weeks ago when he found a chocolate under the couch. All he did was lick it.

Poor little Teddy! Macie has a protein sensitivity! NOt sure when we are going to do cows milk or if we are. She seems to handle ice cream and cheese fine, just not straight milk or milk based formulas. She is getting a little better though because if I mix 2 oz of milk based formula with her altimentum, she doesn't get diarheaa too bad. I think she will outgrow it eventually!

Megan had a slight milk protein intolerance and was on soy formula. However she is now on full while cows milk! What worked for us was we started with one ounce whole milk to 7 ounces soy formula for a week. Then each week we increased the cows milk. This worked great for us. Her system got used to the milk without making her sick and now she loves her milk!

tyler!! We had him on whole milk for 10 days rpobably and he had runny poop but that's not unusual for him...then all of a sudden his poop was mucousy, and extremely smelly and he got a horrible rash. Switched him to coconut milk and he's been good. He doesn't like it as much though so i'm working on alternatives he can do to decrease his juice/water consumption.

Moshie has had a severe milk protein allergy since birth. The first 6 months were a nightmare until the pediatric GI finally did an endoscopy & found the issues. He's been on prescription formula & medication for 5 months. Even a hint of milk in something & he gets blood in his stool & projectile vomits. We have no intention of introducing cows milk. He is also allergic to soy.
