Does your 2010 LO follow directions?

Nathan has been lately and I am so surprised! He helps me carry stuff to the table and put tubberware away. Now these are the ONLY things he follows directions on but I am still very pleased

Ah, I love when they start helping/following directions. But no, Caleb doesn't follow directions. He seems to think that when we say no, that it means "Why, yes, keep heading for that cord, or pulling the pots out of my cabinets" LOL!

Aleyah follows the same directions that Caleb does! although if she picks Some garbage up off the floor she will say "caca" and if I tell her to give it to me she will.

She's starting to understand more gestures I think, and she understands no, but she's more like Caleb in that regard! LOL

Crystal that had me cracking up!! LOL

Tyler...not so much. I'll say "get off of the couch" and he'll smile at me and turn right back around and keep doing what he's doing. He's funny. We're working on it... i talk to him ALL DAY so i'm hoping some of it will start sinking in soon.

NO they are not really following directions yet. They will give me bites if I ask and hand me things off the floor but thats pretty much it! THey do know what no means but lots of times, like the others they don't really seem to care what it means though! Zach as been really cute lately and he'll point to any and everything and say Dat? and I'll have to tell him what it is.

Logan has been responding to us pretty well for a couple months now. He still doesn't listen all the time, especially if he's really involved in whatever he's doing. But when he goes toward certain cabinets and I ask him to keep his fingers out of there, or I ask him not to touch something he listens. He is also working on sharing, if he has something and I ask to see it he will sometimes put it in my hand, which I am really liking.

yep. he has done pretty good for a while. of course the no thing comes into play just like caleb, but usually he does really good! rarely do i have to say something more than 2 times. he has shared for a while too, he loves to do that, which is pretty funny.
