So lately Aleyah hides to poop an if I ask her what she's doing she says "Caca" which is what I say to her when she's poopy, since she knows what she's doing I am thinking of getting her a potty. Now I am not really going to actively try to potty train just expose her to the potty so if/when she's ready it (hopefully) wont be a struggle.

I have had such an easy time potty training my boys I kinda dread training a girl. DS1 was 25 mos, DS2 was 26 mos and DS3 was 13 mos when they trained, #3 pretty much trained himself.

Those of you that have trained boys and girls which sex was easier?

Goodness...I hope a girl is easier! My boy was tough - he still has accidents at 3.5

Well, hard to say. I'm a lazy potty trainer, I can admit that. After trying for almost 2 years with Jacob, I realized that I just don't have the patience for it. I know, it's bad, but I am a slacker! After all sorts of tactics with him, we finally gave up for a month then took the diapers away when he was a little more than 3 - he had 3 accidents and was trained. So I did that same approach with the other 2. Encouraged it but didn't really try to "train" until they were 3, then one day we just said goodbye to diapers/pull-ups and that was it. We completely bipassed pull-ups with #3, and we made a big deal about taking him to pick out his big kid underwear.

But, I got off topic a bit...really I don't think either sex was easier or harder. Isaiah was the easiest, then Jacob, then Clara only b/c she had problems with bedwetting. The good thing with a girl though is they always sit...no trying to teach them to stand to pee! I just think my kids weren't ready until 3, regardless of what I could have done. So with Caleb, I'll go the way I did with Isaiah - encourage it but not really "train" and when he's around 3, we'll bypass the pull-ups and go right to undies.

DS1 was potty trained right after his 2nd birthday DS2 was 2 1/2 and Bekah was 23 months when she trained. She was super easy. Once she realized the feelings then she was able to hold it and go when she was on the potty. But she still wears a pull up to bed and she just turned 3. For some reason she wets just enough to need one at night, not flood it out or anything but more then a few drips kwim? So in my book girls are easier then boys. Emma we are doing a loose elimination communication tactic with so I'm hoping she'll be easy as well.
