lets hear them!
**
DH:
ME:
LO:

DH: before he uses any pair of gloves, he will put them on the ground and stomp on them so if there are any spiders, he kills them before he puts them on. (scared to death of spiders) (besides, if they are posionous and you kill it, the venom could still get him! but do i tell him this?? NO!)
ME: i think we touched on this topic before a long time ago. I am very OCD about lightswitches, a fire started when i was younger in the wall @ my childhood home. there was a piece of drywall on the switch partially, when i turned it off the drywall did something to prevent the light from going off, or switched it funny or something, no clue to this day.. but i am OCD about making sure light switches are fully on or off. If I "feel" like i didnt do it right, i have to go back and fix it or it will bother me to no end until i do it.
LO: everytime he goes in our bedroom now, we have sliding mirror doors on our closet that i put a pic of him on @ his level, he goes and says hi, or kisses himself and smiles! lol

DH: He's obsessed with hockey cards. He likes to take them out and organize them and reorganize them and makes lists of them (for trading).
Me: I also have to make sure light switches are all the way on or off. I have a thing for even numbers. I make lists of everything.
LO (Ashton): If you help him with a puzzle, he'll take out any pieces you put in and do it himself. He has a certain amount of stuff he wants to sleep with and he asks for it in a specific order. He also has an order of doing his puzzles (like he does his train puzzle first, then a school bus, then a fire truck and then a racecar).
LO (Camryn): She loves to take her pants off and plays with them...lol. She can be surrounded with toys but she wants to play with her pants.

DH: honestly, he's just weird lol, but he likes to use cafeteria trays for his meals. Drives me crazy b/c I think they're hideous but he always makes a tray full of food and takes it to the table on a tray.
Me: my silverware cant touch the table in a public place. Home and other peoples homes are fine, but in public, they are either on my plate or on a napkin.
Caleb: he likes to bang one of our side tables in the living room against the wall. He found out he could make noise so now he pushes it against the wall and squeals and laughs every time.

DH: He will throw his dirty clothes onto our pile of clean clothes that are still in a laundry basket in our room, then complains when he picks up a shirt that is dirty.
ME: I was an English major in college & tho I don't speak perfectly proper, I have a tendency to correct people's usage of certain words, and OMG, when it comes to typing something it drives me insane if the grammar is to the point you know they just don't give a you know what about how they sound. I'm a grammar snob LOL!!
LO: He THROWS everything. He's gotta throw it out of his crib & when he's done with his food what he doesn't want, he THROWS. Oi...

DH: He likes to eat and watch tv. Then he has this bad habit of leaving his dish by the side of the couch. He also does this with soda. He leaves it there still full of soda then cusses when Macie or one of the other kids tip it over. Thanks goodness we don't have carpet in the front room.
Me: IDK if it is a quirk, but I have to do things in a certain order. Like everyday tasks. For example when I shower, I have to wash my hair, put conditioner in my hair next but don't rinse it out while I wash my body, shave etc. then rinse my conditioner out. If I condition and rinse before I wash my body or if I wash my body before i condition, I have to start all over.
Macie Moo-she likes to bang on things. Anything she can find. She bangs with her hands, arm and her head. She is a weirdo!

DH: He hates to watch movies/tv if there are black bars across the top and bottom, something widescreen that won't fit the screen or whatever. And he loves Google and everything Google/Android related that people think he works for them and he doesn't. lol
Me: I always have to load the dishwasher the same way. It bothers me if DH does it and just piles things in there where you can't fit as much. Sometimes I reload it. lol I'm kind of OCD about certain things..
LO: She LOVES music. She loves it so much that she'll dance and sing along and if it stops (even just between songs) she'll cry and be so upset. It's too cute/funny! She also loves to put her food in her hair before each bite, and I wonder if it's just to annoy me!! haha.

DH: He MUST take a shower before he goes outside to mow the lawn. Then when he is done mowing the lawn he comes back inside to take another shower. Another one....our dirty laundry basket is inside the small hallway closet. He'll throw his dirty clothes in front of the closet door....but somehow they never make it inside the closet into the basket of dirty clothes. Grrrr!
Me: I have a thing for even numbers. My toe nail and finger nail polish always has to match. I double/triple/quadruple check that the doors are locked before bed each night.
DD1 and DD2: Honestly nothing I can really think of.

me: i have to have a cup of water as soon i wake up in the mornign before anythign else...i write out a list of things to do each night for hte next day..i have to have a coffee by 10am or the day just feels wrong...the first thing i do when i turn on my computerin the morning is check the news....my biggest one is...if we are about to watch a movie..if i even miss the first min of the movie, i refuse to watch it.i need to see it RIGHT from the beginning..i dont do it to be a bumb..just doesnt feel right and i cant concentrate on it..lol

we're not a very "quirky" bunch...we're just way too lazy and passive i think
but, my DH eats one food at a time...as in he eats his fries, then burger....and almost never finishes everything. I think its weird.
Me, i like to eat candy pieces (skittles, m&Ms etc) and cereal in 3s, 2 of one color and one of another...it oesn't bother me if i end up with an odd number but that's just how i do it. I'm also a crazy about the dishwasher and the way i fold clothes. Also DH and i disagree about which directions shirts should be hung. I like the front of mine to face the left, he does it the opposite. Makes me nuts...luckily he doesn't mess with it when i do his laundry.
Tyler...he doesn't really have any quirks yet i don't think. His new thing is putting somethign in his mouth and then putting whatever was in his mouth in mine. mmmm...yum.

DH: He can't stand the sound of people chewing! He also has this weird thing about doing anything sweaty and wearing shirts that cover his arm pits, so white trash dear lol.
Me: Everything, I have lots of issues.. I mean quirks! I only drink through straws or bottles, cups are weird. I put my left sock/shoe on before my right. I have to check on each kid before I fall asleep, I even put my hand on there chest to make sure they are breathing! I have to always have clean and trimmed nails. I use lotion, eye drops, and chap stick before getting in bed.. the list goes on and on..
Elenor: She has to know where everyone is and what they are doing. She doesn't like to sit in her car seat without having something to hold (like a lovey). When she is army crawling she always has something tucked underneath her weak arm (also like a lovey). We call her a hoarder because she hides things!
