I've noticed more and more people have put up Christmas decorations and lights already. One house was decked out November 1st. I'm just not ready at all for Christmas! I love Christmas music, but not quite this early!

How soon do you put out Christmas decorations, if you celebrate Christmas?

We usually put up our tree and other stuff within a week or so after Thanksgiving.

I'm never ready for Christmas...ever...

But the rule of the house has always been that we can't decorate before my birthday on Dec. 8th, so we usually decorate the following week.

Ashton has been requesting a tree since Halloween...lol. We haven't decorated. Probably start around Dec 1 or something. We don't do house lights but just a few indoor things.

In a normal year we decorate the day after Thanksgiving if we're home. If we're not home, I decorate the first day we are home.
This year is not a normal year and we're moving to a temporary place 8 hours away in 3 weeks. We won't have our normal tree or anything since that'll be with all of our furniture going to yet another city where we'll eventually move to in the spring. I don't know if it'll ever feel like Christmas this year.

I <3 Christmas and I'm really looking forward to it this year for some reason. Anytime after Thanksgiving is when we decorate. Usually that weekend following Thanksgiving we get out the tree and begin!

We always decorate on black friday, after we have recovered from our all night shopping frenzy. The worst part is, my shopping is always done by Thanksgiving. Its bad. I get so stressed out, I have to have it done before the holidays even start. Then when black Friday rolls around, DH and I go shopping for ourselves. Is that bad? I love it!

its different down here in aus..the decorations seem to be out in the stores much earlier becaue i think they dont have thanksgiving down here and halloween is not that popular..although its getting more so...we usually put our tree up the first week or so of december.but might wait until the kids finish school this year which is december 10th becaue by xmas i cant wait to get the darn thing down..lol
