"I plan to BF for a year. At that point I will see if we both want to continue it or not. As long as I make it close to a year though, I'll be very happy.

I pump a few times during the week so that on the weekend DH can feed DS a couple of times and we can go out with friends to places that aren't as BFing friendly. I just make sure that I don't bottle feed two feedings in a row so my boobs aren't sore and my supply keeps up. It's the perfect balance for us since DH isn't around during the week at all. I really love BFing DS during the week, but at the same time like having the small breaks on the weekend."

I'm laughing over that post right now! I am still happily BFing. But we stopped bottles all together probably a month after that post because DS started refusing them all. By the time DS was 5 months old I had gotten over people not being BFing friendly and just BFed him anywhere I wanted. (And by that point DH started reading to DS for their together time at night.)

The dr. "Now he has told me to not have dairy for a week to see if that helps her belly and stinky gas. If that doesn't work, then he thinks she might just have issues with my breastmilk. Then we will have to switch to formula! ALso he gave her a new type of acid reflux med. If it doesn't work in 3 to 4 days and when I quit dairy for a week then she feels better, then it is for sure lactose intolerance. I guess it can mimic symptoms of acid reflux. Anyways, so next week we should see if she feels better or not. Oh and she is 10 lbs 3 oz. so atleast she is gaining weight! "

"So Macie is getting worse. Now she has this rash on her face and has been crying A LOT today. My house is a wreck and she just keeps freaking out! Finally I got her to sleep in my moby wrap so I am going to try to go clean up the apple juice my kids spilled all over the kitchen while I was trying to settle ms. Macie. I am also craving cheese like mad and can't have it and I really hope this solves her belly issues. Sorry for my rant it is just so frustrating that I can't make her feel better right away! All my othe 4 babies were SO easy-I guess I deserve this LOL"

Both from Dec. 2nd
