I'm exhausted but I got back from visiting my sister in Houston. Completely different world down there in some ways. I was amazed at the amount of money people will spend on things. I guess being a midwest girl, I didn't realize that a certain kind of shoes needs it's own security guard and cost more than what my mortgage payment is! We just don't have stuff like that anywhere around here. I left Thursday so I wasn't down there too long, but we did a lot of running around, went to a play, got some of her wedding planning done and were just able to hang out. She made this awesome mulled wine, which I had never had before, but it was awesome and very Christmas-y. So it was a ton of fun, but I'm glad to be back home.
