What was the best or most memorable gift you ever received, tangible or not?
It was the Christmas DH and I were dating, not engaged. He talked up this awesome present he found that I was going to love. He went on and on and I totally thought he bought a ring (we were living together and had been talking about it). So I told my mom and sis I thought maybe he was going to propose. Ok, so Christmas Eve we go to my folks for the night and i see this odd shaped box, definitely not a ring box, so I figured "well, it's no ring, but I have no idea what it is." Christmas morning, I open it, and it's a leopard print cushioned toilet seat. I am not kidding. He knew I like leopard print and the cushioned toilet seats so he bought me one. Yeah. But it makes for an awesome story now (we did get engaged in that following January)

I remember getting a big Legos set as a kid and watching my mom totally engrossed in playing with them the next morning.

i dont remember it, but i have been told the story a thousand & one million times.. i wanted this workout set (yep, i am from the 80's baby!!) and i guess i freaked the hells out like the kids you see on AMFV! wish they would have taken pics or taped it or something!

as an adult? my set of ridiculously awesome pots and pans 2 yrs ago from dh! i love love love to cook and bake and grill, so he did good! lol
