Nikki will be having Kaiden tonight, making Trey the first big brother of the group! Congrats Nikki, Lee & Trey!!

She is only 35w3d so lets all send him lots of healthy vibes!

shes' been contracting pretty much constantly for the last few days...they haven't done much to stop them, so i guess they decided it was time fo rhim to come on out!

Here is a short version of what happen...lol

And thank you to everyone else for praying for baby Kaiden and I!!

It was def a scary night b/c I didnt know how well he was going to do, I will give a short version of what happen and write up his full birth story in the next few days.

I started having contractions Sunday night but they wernt to regular so I didnt really pay much attention to them until around wednesday when they were getting really close together I was contracting every 2-4 min so I had my best friend take me up to L&D since my DH was at work. They started an IV and that slowed them to about every 8 min and my cervix hadnt changed at all while I was there so they went ahead and sent me home.
I was up all night still contracting and they stayed pretty spaced out threw out the day about every 5-9 min so I just went about my day untill around 5p.m they started picking back up again so DH and I went back up to L&D and they did the same thing, hooked me up to an IV to see if that would slow them down again. Well it didnt work and I had dialated to a 1 so my Dr decided it would be best to go ahead and deliver him.

Things went so fast from there on. With in 45 min I was preped and in the OR ready to have my baby!!!! I was so scared that he was going to be so small and not be able to breath since I was only 35 weeks 3 days. Well come to find out at one of my early scans he mesured ahead so my dr had changed my due date and I didnt even know. So I was really 35 weeks 6 days. So he was felt that Kaiden would be ok being that he was pretty much 36 weeks.

Kaiden was born at 11:41 p.m on 12-15-11 and he came into this world screaming!!! It felt so good to hear him cry and to know that he was ok. Come to find out he had a true knot in his cord that was really close to his belly botton, and the dr said it was a good thing they took him then b/c he prolly wouldnt have lasted another week. It is so scary to know that we could have lost him to a cord accident. So I know me going into labor was God's way of saying it was time for him to come out b/c he could no longer stay in my belly safely!!!!! He was 5lbs 14oz and 19in long, he is sooo tiny compraied to my other son when he was born.

He did have a lil trouble breathing at first but nothing that required asst to help him breath and he had a lil bit of sugar issues the fist night. But he is absoulty perfect now!!!! We are home now and I couldnt be happier to be home with my family. I missed Trey so much....lol
