I have been sick for a week and thought that this crap was going away, but it took a turn for the worse yesterday...I am having a hard time breathing but not pregnancy related....Last night I woke up gasping for air followed by a long coughing spell and peed my pants! All of my muscles hurt in my ribs, along with my head, and I gag and throw up from coughing.
Please say some prayers for me that I dont' have pneumonia and that I make it through this. IT feels so much like pneumonia.....
Someone can shoot me now and put me out of my misery.
Im sorry youre so miserable. I have a small idea that might help a tiny bit. Can you stand to take some what of a steam shower? like sit in the bottom of your shower, and point the hot water at the wall? Go buy a little Eukaliptus (sp) oil, and put it in the shower with you. it is a natural remedie to open up your lungs a bit, and steam showers help when youre sick. Just a thought. I really hope you feel better soon hun
I agree with what Eleysia said about the eucalyptus. Also, Vicks vapor rub is ok while pregnant too...check out the "helpful pregnancy info forum" we have here....there is a link to safe meds while Pg.
you can actually put a tablespoon of that in a steaming bowl of water & breath it in for as long as you can.
I'd go to a dr. too as soon as you can !
feel better soon hon !!!
I have a doc appt this morning now...I tried to get in to see my OB because I wanted to ask him questions about coughing so hard with placenta previa....it's the same as straining the muscles, and all the coughing feels pretty darn strenuous to me. So I was wondering if he thought that would be another increased risk for bleeding...
But the OB nurse told me to go to my PCM....sigh....so that's where I have to go....
