When did it start for you if you had it. I am 21 weeks and the past 2 days I feel like I am not getting enough air. I am not sure if it is due to the swelling of my nasal passages (which I read is a symptom of pregnancy), or if it's cause the baby is growing...Or maybe I am just crazy...Any one have any input on it?

ive had the same thing over the last few months. and i find its not getting any better. LOL..
its normal tho. i cant even walk up the stairs with out running out of breath. so i just take my time going up and down the stairs. theres really nothing you can do. i keep the saline drops going. and it kinda helps..lol..

i have felt that way for about a month now too. so it started at about 21 or 22 weeks for me. before that i was having asthma problems, but this has been a different type of not being able to breathe. i can't believe how winded i get sometimes just walking out to the shop & back!

At 19 weeks I got sick and my breathing got worse...I too, felt that I wasn't getting enough oxygen. I ended up with bronchial induced asthma or something like that....with no prior history of asthma???

But being breathless is common is pregnancy too! Hang in there!

Judy,

I am really getting bad now....I huff and Puff big time !!
I think it started for me around 22-23 weeks??? everything is just getting pushed up making it difficult to breathe.
I also use saline spray for my nose that gets stuffy too at times. "Nasal Comfort" is awesome ! and I HATE nose spray !
