I took them with all three of my kiddos before....and well, I can't remember if it helped me or not....

There are two reasons why I plan on taking a class this time around...one is because it has been an awfully long time since I was pregnant last, and two this is DH's first (biological) child, labor, etc...so it will good for him to know what to do...

But he needs to get here first....*giggle*

I never took them with either baby and I'm not planning on it now either. I've always said, the nurses and drs will tell you what to do....you're not gonna be in labor and have them say "sorry, I can't help you...you should have taken the classes so you'd know what to do right now" LOL

I didn't take any classes with either of my pregnancies. What I DID do, though, was do a lot of research on the stages of labor and what your body is going to be doing. I think it helped me to know what my body was doing and made the whole thing less scary.

Plus, Kim's right about the medical staff. It's not like if you don't take the classes you won't be able to have the baby! But....it DOES help keep you calm if you know what's going on.

I am sure I will. Never had a baby before, so I need all the help I can GET! LOL!

Plus, I would like to take some prenatal yoga once I get into my 2nd trimester.
