I banked my son Kaidens cord blood, and with all he has going on, I am glad I did in case he ends up having something we can cure it with.

He may have the SDS they want to test him for, and if he does then its a bone marrow disease, but I dont know if his own cord blood would cure it, so I am debating whether to bank Corbins cord blood, because I have read of others bone marrow problems being cured with cord blood. so Corbins cord blood could cure kaidens problem (if he has it). so we will see, still thiniking about it, not sure if we can really afford it.

I don't know if I am going to bank it for myself. It is pretty expensive to maintain. I definitely plan on donating it if I don't bank it. There is no reason not to donate it. If it goes and helps someone else, or even is used in research that will help someone else, I will feel good about that.
