I think I'm ready to come and hang out here! I'm coming over from the TTCAL board and even though they still welcome me I felt it was time to move.
My name is Jeana, I am 23 and happily married to DH Aaron. We just celebrated 5 years this month! Our little girl is almost 2 and my EDD for this little one is Feb 1st.
I will give more of the story later but for now the bare bones... I got pregnant in January and had a m/c at 5 weeks and a few days. It was really hard but I bounced back quickly and was ready to try again immediately. And here I am! Just found out Monday that I am pregnant again. I will be 4 weeks on Sunday but the test picked it up really early! I'm ok with that!
I'm so excited but, of course, nervous. I feel better about this one though. Circumstances are better than the last time and I am already having symptoms: sore boobs, nauseousness, dull cramps, headaches and really tired. It all comes in waves but it's comforting. With the last pregnancy I didn't really have any symptoms at all. With my daughter I had symptoms but not until about 6 weeks.
I am just going to hang out here for a little bit. I just wanted to make a quick introduction!!
Hi Jeana! Congratulations on your anniversary and your pregnancy!!
It doesn't matter how cautiously you enter, we are here to scoop you up and offer support and big hugs!
We all know your fears and worries. It's terrifying getting pregnant after a loss!! Take one day at a time and try to remember that your last pregnancy outcome has no effect on this pregnancy whatsoever. Meaning that just because you had a miscarriage last time, doesn't mean you will have another with this time....this helped me get by in the early to mid pregnancy...
Welcome!!! You have a beautiful little girl, by the way....sooo very precious!
Hi there, welcome and congrats!! I was also a TTCAL girl for awhile before I got my BFP. I did not want to upset the new girls with my updates, so I moved over here FT pretty quickly. Anyhow, glad to have another TTCAL'er over here at PAL!
