Did you or will you play music to your tummy for baby to hear? If so what? I need suggestions, my Ipod has mostly techno, and I think thats a lil fast for Nathan!

I never actually played music for Abby. However, I was thinking about it with this one. I sing to the baby does that count? Dh got in the car the other day and said, I hope my baby isn't listening to this heavy metal. lol I told him no, they were playing oldies (i love the 80's rock) and so that is why it was up so loud.
I am curious what others play for their little ones. I just figure if I don't like the music than neither will my baby!

I just listened to whatever with Haley. I'll probably do the same with this one. Haley is a music hound now though. Her and her daddy listen to the old country. She just sings and dances away.
Katie always responded to Paul Simon ! LOL
She loved "me & julio down by the school yard" the most.....
and Van Morrison "Into the Mystic"
now she "dances " with mommy to the 50's & 60's channel on dishnetwork[/b]
That is adorable Dee!
Well, I probably will, but not a lot. I read somewhere that there is new information suggesting too much audio in the womb can actually hurt their little ears.

I have the Baby Einstein CDs... (There are DVDs too) they have nice classical music, if you like that. I also play Hawaiian music for them. My favorite is Hapa. A lot of the songs sound like lullabyes, so it's dual purpose too!
