OMG...for the past few nights Katie starts screaming around 11 pm and doesnt stop til 1-3 am....
she has been super gassy, constant hiccups, spitting up and having looser stools....sorry tmi.........
I have realized this is the first time she has been on a regular formula...everything else has been sensitive ....and I freaking switched her because she wasnt pooping enough.....I feel like a ROTTEN mother.....
last night I called my mom and she told me I was the EXACT same way....she switched me to soy.....
Luckily I had a brand new can of similac soy formula that someone had given me....its powder, so I am hoping the water mixed with it will keep her from getting to bound up.....
I just bought alot of formula yesterday, I am so glad I saved the receipt! LOL

she had it last night & woke up smiling.....2 bottles so far today also and no spit up or hiccups!
I am hoping when 11 pm rolls around she will still be comfortable.

Awwww give Katie a big hug from me. And you also need one to. Sometimes it takes a few different formulas for a baby to find which one is right for them. and its never fair to the parents or the child. I would heat up a little blanket and wrap it around her belly. sometimes i have to do that to Makenna cause the gas is to much. and im telling you that heat will help her feel better. I hope this formula helps her out better then the others.

You will never be a horrible mother so get that out of your mind forever!!!

Most babies go through this so it's just going to be trial and error for a few days. Try burping her an extra time if she will and maybe try a different type of bottle. Ethanael was the same way....very windy and always spitting up. We had a ton of Avent anti colic and they just weren't working for him so we switched to Dr Browns and he was so much better. I don't know if that will be the same for Katie as it depends on how she eats. She's probably still used to the breast and suckling that way and she's going through an adjustment to a bottle teat.

She'll be ok, hopefully the soy will help her out.
