I need some opinions, please...
I'm having some back pain on the right side and wondering if it might be kidney pain. Its not sharp pain, but really uncomfortable and kinda achy/sore feeling, it also kinda radiates around to my belly. Anyone have any experience w/ this? Should I call my dr? Or hold off and see if it gets better? TIA!
I would call your doc just to be on the safe side could be a UTI or kidney infection. But you could just be dehydrated. Drink some Gatoraide, water, juice, lemonade...something and take it easy and see if the pain lets up.
Hope you feel better!
(I got UTI's all the time with both of my kids and it would make my back hurt)
Go get some Cranberry juice, drink lots of it. It's nasty stuff, but it helps w/ kidney/UTI problems. Brittany also says Cranberry tablets work, but cranberry juice is easier to find w/out going to a specialty shop. I used to get frequent UTI and kidney infections, NO FUN! They can cause sharp pain, or the achy/sore feeling, both in the small of your back about a palm legnth up from your booty cheek. (or that's the area mine always hurt the most) If drowning yourself in cranberry juice for 24 hours doesn't help, then call your doctor; or if it's too painful to pee, then call your doctor.
Yep, it is an infection. They didn't tell me what kind, just that they found white blood cels in my urine. They're sending it out to a lab to find out what kind to make sure i'm on the right antibiotics. Thanks for the help ladies!
