Ok, so I won't get my results back until my next apt which I'm happy to say is just under 3 weeks away. They will contact me asap is the results aren't good though.

I had to fast from midnight until after the final blood draw. I ended up eating a late dinner just after 8pm so thought that might screw me up due to the carbs. Anyway, I checked my sugar level before going and it was 85 first thing in the morning. Got ready and went to my apt, drank the yucky drink and sat for 2 hours then she did the second blood draw. Less than 5 mins later, I checked my sugar level and it was 86. I couldn't believe it was that low after that sugar load. I know that if the results are done by a plasma reading it will be up to 15 percent higher which will put me at about 98. I don't really know what these numbers mean for comparison but when I had gd with my last baby, I always had to have my sugar under 120 2 hours after a meal.

I'll be so happy if I don't end up with it. I've worked so hard to lose this weight and the odd are so against me. I'll let you all know as soon as I hear anything.

Also, I had this test at our local birthing center and there was a woman in labor, very vocal so must have been natural. It was so emotional because you could hear her going through it all and then a few hours later, a beautiful cry. Part of it made me a tad nervous because that will be me soon, but what a wonderful moment.

For the other part of our day, we got the baby/toddler furniture and got most of the room together. Still have some work to do with the walls and decor but getting there.

There is one pic of the room and then my sweet baby boy wanted to sleep in the baby's bed. So we let him for tonight, want him to be a part of all this and connect with this baby so this will be a funny story we can all share later and he can share with her. We put him in it and he was out like a light. I just had to share.

I'm really happy with the room, our house is so tiny we weren't sure how all this would work out. We got a smashing deal and the quality is excellent. I just feel really blessed right now.
