How are things going? I didn't see anything from you on here. Is everything good with your LO?

Aw, thanks for asking hun! Everything seems to be going great w/Hayden! I feel pretty tired these days, so I am going to pick up some iron and see if that helps. Plus, I have heartburn everyday for most of the day..... Also, my tummy seems to have shrank so that is a bummer, but I have come to the conclusion that I cannot will my tummy to look pregnant...lol.... It will just happen when it does, and right now I will be happy about the fact that I am probably much more comfortable right now than others at 24 weeks.

However, I did have a little scare the other night because Hayden was sleeping at a time when he is normally (more like clockwork) VERY active, and I couldn't get him to wake up or move. I had been feeling less movement for several days before that too so I freaked, and DH and I went to the ER. Of course, as soon as they put the monitor on me, he started kicking and the HB was going up and down, and the nurse said that was VERY healthy. She said it means he is very active, and that there are probably a lot of movements that I am not feeling. She was right bc I could hear him kicking on the doppler, but not feel it.

So, sorry about the book, but you asked!

How about you sweetie? How are you doing? Got any advice for first time moms?

Sorry you are feeling so tired. My iron dropped during the last part of my pg and I had to take iron pills too. I understand how much you want your belly, I was so proud of mine when I got it. Even my friends said it was so cute the way I always tried to show it off. I LOVED it. I hope you get yours too and as soon as you do pop I want to see pictures. I just know it will be so cute!

Wow that must have been a really scary experience for you! I would have been at the ER too. A lot of times ppl don't go because they don't want to look silly and something really is wrong. You know even when I was 32 weeks + having all those NST's I couldn't always feel his movement. The nurse would look at the strip and yell at me for not pushing the botton when he moved but I didn't feel him move at all. I guess you can't always feel the little buggers.

For a first time Mom my advice is to relax and just go with your Mommy instincts and you will be fine. You are going to be an awesome Mom, just relax and enjoy every minute of it. You will love it, I know you will. Don't listen to all the horror stories and all the ppl that tell you negative things. It's the most amazing thing in the world and everyday gets better and better. Just when you think you can't love them anymore they smile at you, or coo at you, or laugh at you and you fall even more in love with them.

P.S. Is it just me or is your pg going really slow? I REALLY want to meet him already!

I know I am a silly girl, but when I couldn't get him moving no matter what I did, I panicked. We are fortunate that a trip to the ER is not a big deal, so WTH, it made me feel a lot better.

Thanks for the positive thoughts hun, I have heard several horror stories, and I just try to take them with a grain of salt. I know I am going to love it, I just want him here already!

Anyhow, I feel like the 1st 15 or 16 weeks drug by, but now......I am wondering where July and August (esp Aug!) went!?
