Im back and im not to happy. but oh well. shes at 10 lbs 7 oz which is great they said. Shes a bit on the short side..lol.

Well i was talking to them about her puking just once in the day and when it comes that time, its all of her feeds, and very think and comes out of her nose to. Well he said its reflux. and now shes on meds twice a day to control it. he also told me i can put her on the formula that is thickened. But i can put cereal in her bottle for now he said.. i found out to, that her wheezing isnt asthma, her cartilage isnt strong like most babies, and that because she was a bit early its only normal for babies to have that. so for now hes giving her the meds for acid reflux to control it and also so the acid doesnt hurt the cartilage and it can start growing and getting stronger. he said i will notice a noise improvement once i get the meds into her. so keep your fingers crossed that the cartilage grows properly...but over all he said shes healthy and thats the main thing!

thanks for reading!

I'm glad they gave her something to help her feel better. I hope it works. Haley had to take meds for acid reflux when she was a baby, but only for a short time. I hope the caritlage grows like it's supposed to.

I hope the meds help with her reflux and the cartilage issue, poor thing! Sounds like everything else was good though, Brandy! YAY!!

By the way, I love your new tickers! I saw the last one, and thought, OMG I luv that. I was all set to go look for a princess one to add to my siggy, and then I saw you already had it for Beautiful Makenna. Darn, but that sure is cute!!!

Brandy, I'm glad they've got you on meds for her. Erin had reflux and would throw up every time she ate, and they wouldn't do anything for me because she wasn't losing weight. It made me very angry. So I'm glad that your doctor is more proactive than mine.

I'm glad she's healthy other than that!!

Hope the meds work. A lot of the moms in my PR had LO's with the same condition and were on the same meds and had success.
